iCare BadgerCare Plus Eligibility


How do I apply for BadgerCare Plus?

It’s simple - log on to: www.access.wisconsin.gov and follow the instructions provided, or call the Enrollment Specialist at 1-800-291-2002.

Who is eligible for iCare BadgerCare Plus?

  • Parents and caretakers at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level
  • Pregnant women with incomes at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level
  • Children (ages 17 and younger) with household incomes at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level Childless adults with incomes at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level
  • Our service area include Adams, Brown, Calumet, Door, Fond du Lac, Grant, Green, Jackson, Juneau, La Crosse, Kenosha, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Milwaukee ,Monroe, Oconto, Outagamie, Ozaukee, Racine ,Sauk, Shawano, Sheboygan, Trempealeau, Vernon, Waupaca, Walworth, Washington, and Waukesha Counties and Winnebago Counties

How do I renew my BadgerCare Plus Benefits?

It is important to renew your coverage as soon as you get your renewal letter from the BadgerCare Plus program. Starting your health care renewal on time will help prevent an interruption or delay in services. Here are three ways to renew your coverage:

  • Go to ACCESS.wi.gov and follow the instructions to renew.
  • Download an application online at dhs.wi.gov/em/customerhelp and mail it in.
  • Call or visit your Income Maintenance agency office. You can call us at 1-800-777-4376 for help finding your agency office or go to: dhs.wisconsin.gov/forwardhealth/imagency/index.htm
