Aurora Special Needs Plan Features:

  • OTCOver-the-Counter (OTC) Benefit

    As an Aurora Special Needs Plan member you receive $85 worth of OTC medications and supplies delivered to your home, free of charge, each month. That’s $1,020 a year to use towards your OTC needs! A new $85 allowance will be issued to you each month. Unused portions of the monthly dollar amount will be carried over into the following month. Dollar amounts expire at the end of each calendar quarter (March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31) OR if you disenroll before the end of the year.

  • WeightLifterSilverSneakers© Fitness Program

    SilverSneakers is a fitness benefit that includes access to 11,000+ fitness locations* nationwide, exercise equipment and other amenities, group exercise classes led by certified instructors, a support network and online resources. Signature SilverSneakers classes designed for all levels and abilities are offered in traditional fitness classrooms.

    More than 70 SilverSneakers FLEX© class options including Latin dance, yoga, tai chi and walking groups are offered in settings outside the traditional gym. Three BOOM© classes, MIND, MUSCLE and MOVE IT, offer more intense workouts inside the gym. Eligible plan members simply show their personal SilverSneakers ID number at the front desk of any participating location to use the benefit.   • WeightWatchersWeight Watchers©

    The Weight Watchers© NEW Beyond the Scale program delivers a holistic and personal approach to losing weight. As an Aurora Special Needs Plan member, you can request meeting voucher packs for local Weight Watchers meetings from your Care Coordinator. These packs will contain thirteen-weeks' worth of meeting vouchers at a local, on-site Weight Watchers location. The NEW Beyond the Scale program moves beyond what you weigh, so you can eat healthier, move more, live happier, AND lose weight.

    You can request new voucher packs near the end of each thirteen-week period if you would like to continue to use Weight Watchers. Please call your Care Coordinator 1-855-818-1129 (TTY: 1-800-947-3529) to request new voucher packs.

  • DentalEnhanced Dental Services

    An extra $2,500 a calendar year for preventive and comprehensive dental services from our network providers

    • Oral Exams and Cleaning: Up to 2 per calendar year
    • Dental X-Rays: Up to 1 per calendar year
      • X-Rays are limited to either 1 panoramic or 1 full set per calendar year
    • Emergency Office Visits & Diagnostic Services: Up to 2 per calendar year
    • Simple Restorative Services
      • Limited to Amalgams/Resins (No root canals or crowns): One restoration per tooth per calendar year
    • Simple Extractions (No Surgical Extractions)
    • Basic Partials and Basic Dentures are covered, no coverage for repair

  • VisionEnhanced Vision Services

    An extra $150 per calendar year towards glasses and lenses

    As an Aurora Special Needs Plan member, you receive up to $150 a calendar year for lenses and frames. This benefit cannot be combined with your Medicaid benefit.

  • Medical SymbolPersonal Emergency Response System

    Feel more secure at home with access to help 24/7. AutoAlert automatically places a call for help if it detects a fall and you can’t push your help button. If a fall is detected, it’s designed to get you 24/7 access to help even if you are disoriented, immobilized or unconscious. Contact your Care Coordinator for more information about this benefit at 1-855-818-1129 (TTY: 1-800-947-3529). Prior authorization is required to take advantage of this benefit.

  • MealsMeal Benefit

    If you are transitioning from an inpatient hospital or skilled nursing facility, you are eligible for up to 28 days of meals (maximum 84 meals provided).   • Health EducationHealth Education with Transportation

    The iCare Health Education with Transportation benefit provides members with the ability to attend health education sessions to reinforce healthy behaviors, which leads to better outcomes.

    The Plan will pay registration fees for selected courses.

    Additionally, transportation is provided to and from health education sessions for up to 36 one-way trips annually, up to 35 miles. Prior authorization is required.

  • TelehealthTeleHealth Benefit

    Telehealth is FREE video-based medical appointments with a doctor or other licensed provider of your choice, up to 12 telehealth visits.

    • iCare Partners with American Well to offer urgent care, primary care, behavioral health, and nutrition visits
    • There are three ways to connect to a medical provider online:
      • Access the American Well app via your cell phone or tablet
      • Access American Well’s website, 24 hours a day/7 days a week/365 day a year
      • Come to iCare’s Milwaukee office and have a telehealth appointment in our private telehealth clinic! (Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
    • Choose doctors from several medical specialties:
      • Primary Care (Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine)
      • Psychiatry
    • Or, choose other clinical providers:
      • Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, Nutritionists
